It took me another 6 tries to beat SMART with Neojungle. When you’re a killer mutant plant, robots trying to mow you down to size with automatic weaponry is such a downer.
My big tip for beating SMART with Neojungle:
PLACE YOUR BASE AT THE CENTRE
It’s tempting to skulk around the edges with Neojungle, waiting to build up your homeland until you can reach over and take out the enemy with one huge bite. This doesn’t work with SMART because their base grants mobility – their many, many guns can be repositioned and pointed at your fronds at any moment. SMART loves to put its base at the centre so it can do this with six guns. When you place your base at the centre, or snuggle up close to them when they do, this devastating ability is diminished.
These ones regenerate. Don’t let them move as well!
